How large of a file can I upload?
SecurePATH™ can handle files up to 2GB.

What operating system do I need to run SecurePATH™?
SecurePATH was developed to run on an Open Source environment. You can find the supported Open Source system requirements on the Support Page.

Can I install this on a Windows Server?
Currently, SecurePATH™ can only be installed on Fedora Core 5 and 6.

What is PGP Commandline?
PGP Command Line augments existing batch processes and backup procedures with strong encryption, digital signing, file compression, and secure file-wiping capabilities.

What are Self-Decrypting Archives (SDAs)?
A Self-Decrypting Archive (SDA) is an executable containing a file that has been encrypted using a pass phrase. A recipient of an SDA runs the executable and enters the pass phrase to decrypt the file. SDAs are especially useful when the user must send an encrypted file to a recipient who does not have PGP software installed. Rules for SDA password strength can be applied.

What do my customers need to decrypt the file?
Since the files are encrypted using PGP's SDA technology, your customer will not require anything but internet access through a browser or FTP access and the passphrase provided by the sender.

Do my users need a client installed to use SecurePATH?
No. SecurePATH is a web service. They will only need a web browser.

How does the customer know when they have received a file?
The customer will recieved a notification email with a link to the SecurePATH or FTP Site. They can then retrieve the encrypted file accordingly.

Does SecurePATH integrate with Active Directory?
Yes. Users can use the same network credentials to login to SecurePATH. AD Groups can also be used to manage user access.

How does the IT department manage SecurePATH?
All of the admin and management controls are available through the web interface. Administrators can set policies, manage user accounts and groups, manage domains, ban domains, manage ftp sites, set file extension policies, view reports and logs and configure backup. Admin's can also customize notification messages and edit the graphics and style of SecurePATH to match their corporate site.

Which protocols are used to send the encrypted files?
Currently, HTTPS and FTP.
